The state transport minister of Assam in a statement said that six new flyovers will be constructed in the state, of which three will be executed in Guwahati's Lokhra, Garchuk and Basistha Chariali areas. He said that three more flyovers will be constructed in Nagaon, Bongaigaon and Dibrugarh districts. The projects have been handed over to NHAI and the DPR is expected to be completed shortly, follwoing which, construction of the flyovers will start by October this year.
