CCI Approves Delhivery’s Acquisition of 99.44% Stake in Ecom Express

The Competition Commission of India

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has granted approval for Delhivery Limited to acquire at least 99.44% of the equity and preference shareholding (on a fully diluted basis) of Ecom Express Limited.

The proposed acquisition will strengthen Delhivery’s position in the Indian logistics and e-commerce delivery space. A publicly listed company, Delhivery offers integrated logistics solutions including express parcel and heavy goods delivery, full and part truckload freight, warehousing, cross-border express services, and supply chain software. It has a strong focus on automation, proprietary logistics tech, and data intelligence.

Ecom Express, an unlisted public company, specializes in logistics for the e-commerce sector, offering end-to-end solutions such as pickup, delivery, reverse logistics, returns management, and warehousing.

The strategic acquisition is expected to enhance operational efficiencies and consolidate Delhivery’s presence in the rapidly growing Indian logistics market.
