Foot Overbridge Linking Sarai Kale Khan Namo Bharat Station & Hazrat Nizamuddin Station Opens
Developed by National Capital Region Transport Corporation, the foot overbridge is part of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor and is aimed at easing commuter movement in the busy Sarai Kale Khan transit zone.
The new connectivity infrastructure is expected to reduce congestion and provide safer pedestrian access between Namo Bharat services, railway facilities, metro connectivity and bus terminals. NCRTC also plans to add staircases and escalators linking the foot overbridge directly to the Delhi Metro station near Gate No. 3 for improved multimodal integration.
