Arunachal Pradesh CM Inaugurates New Secretariat, Bridges & Peace Park in West Kameng

Khandu inaugurated the newly constructed sub-divisional secretariat at Hing Thangkha in the presence of Home Minister Mama Natung and local MLAs. The modern building brings multiple government departments under one roof, aimed at improving administrative efficiency and public service delivery.
In Dirang, connectivity received a boost with the inauguration of a 70-metre double-lane steel bridge over the Meyong River at Kharsa, replacing an ageing suspension bridge. He also laid foundation stones for new connectivity projects, including the Chug Bridge, strategic roads linking Thembang and nearby villages, and bridges at Khonpathar and Khasso.
Educational institutions in the region have been upgraded with modern infrastructure, providing safer and better learning environments, reducing dropout rates, and motivating teachers to perform better.
In memory of his late brother and former MLA Jambey Tashi, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Jambey Tashi Memorial Peace Park at Chug Valley. He also opened Changphu Park, a new four-acre amusement and recreational space along the Meyong River in Kharkatang.
