ARSS Infra Railway Contract
Adding to its project portfolio, the ARSS Infrastructure Projects, a renowned infra builder of national repute, in a joint venture between ARSS-SIPS, has bagged work orders of Rs. 63.80-cr from the North Central Railway. The scope of work in the contract included the construction of a bridge on the Betwa River including earthwork and construction of minor bridges on approaches rail-road lines. In this connection, the company has already deposited 5 per cent of the contract value of Rs. 3.18-cr towards performance guarantee. It may be recalled that ARSS Infrastructure Projects started as a construction company in the field of railway infrastructure development and over a period of time has gained an expertise in railway construction projects, which include earthwork, major and minor bridges, supply of ballast, sleepers, laying of sleepers and rails, linking of tracks, among others, said an official spokesperson.
