AP launches ₹1,300-cr infrastructure projects

Andhra Pradesh CM recently laid the foundation stones for various infra projects worth about ₹1,300 crore, including smart city roads and highways and drainage development works worth ₹153.9 crore. A project for supplying safe drinking water through a 315 km pipeline at a cost of ₹152.65 crore has been launched. Apart from this,the projects will include a beach front re-development project of ₹108 crore; a ₹80 crore multi-level car parking and commercial complex at Siripuram; a ₹37 crore planetarium atop the Kailasa Hill; a bio-mining project at Kapuluppada dumping yard at a cost of ₹22.5 crore; and Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) swimming pools in various zones involving ₹11.9 crore investments, besides internal roads and drainage works at a cost of ₹80 crore, and sewage treatment plant involving ₹4 crore investments.
