The Andhra Pradesh government plans to develop road infrastructure connecting all unconnected tribal areas. Tribal Welfare Minister Gummadi Sandhya Rani announced that the Chief Minister has assured ₹2,500 crore for this initiative, which aims to link approximately 2,100 tribal hamlets. Of the 2,162 tribal habitations lacking proper connectivity, the Panchayat Raj Engineering Department is addressing road development under the PMGSY and PM-JANMAN schemes for villages with over 100 residents.
