Amethi awaits Rs. 476cr infra upgrade

Accelerating the infrastructure building process in the rural heartland of the state, the Uttar Pradesh government has recently cleared Rs. 476-cr for all-round development of Amethi district under the State government's ambitious Zila Yojna programme, said official sources claiming that the sanctioned funds will be used for various development projects and basic amenities in the area. They said adding that the officials concerned will ensure that quality is not compromised and that strict actions will be taken if lapses were found. The projects include construction of roads and bridges, health and family welfare programme's and schemes for providing portable water in rural and urban areas, they claimed.
