Alvarez & Marsal Appoints Saurav Kumar as Managing Director

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has appointed Saurav Kumar as Managing Director of its Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice. This move reinforces A&M’s commitment to supporting India’s fast-growing infrastructure sector, driven by government-led development initiatives.
With over 16 years of experience in engineering, construction, and procurement, Kumar specializes in optimizing capital projects through cost and time efficiencies, digital transformation, and strategic planning. His expertise spans infrastructure, transit systems, railways, factories, petrochemicals, and renewable energy.
Before joining A&M, Kumar spent over 12 years at McKinsey & Company in India, leading project design, execution, and optimization. He holds a bachelor's degree in production engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy.
