Adani's Navi Mumbai Airport to Raise ₹20,000 Cr for Next Phase

Adani Group's Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIAL), set to become Mumbai's second aviation hub, plans to raise ₹20,000 crore in the second half of FY26 to fund the next phase of the greenfield facility, which is slated for completion by 2029.
The airport's first phase will be inaugurated on April 17, with domestic operations beginning in May and international flights starting in July. Initially designed to handle 20 million passengers annually, the airport’s full capacity will reach 90 million passengers by 2036.
Phase one and two also include developing metro footings, an automated people mover (APM) system, and an underground tunnel to enhance terminal connectivity.
