Adani Energy Wins ₹2,800 Cr Power Transmission Project in Gujarat

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured a ₹2,800 crore power transmission project in Gujarat to supply green energy for Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia production in Mundra. The project will be completed in 36 months.
The initiative involves upgrading the Navinal (Mundra) substation with two 765/400kV transformers and constructing a 75 km, 765kV double-circuit transmission line to the Bhuj substation. This will add 150 cKM of transmission lines and 3,000 MVA transformation capacity, expanding AESL’s total network to 25,928 cKM and 87,186 MVA.
AESL secured the project through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB), with PFC Consulting Limited as the bid process coordinator. The Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) was officially transferred to AESL on March 20, 2025.
