Work Begins on Jamshedpur’s Interstate Bus Terminal

The interstate bus terminus

The interstate bus terminus (ISBT) project in Jamshedpur has gained momentum with groundwork starting near Vasundhara Estate in Dimna along NH-33. Spread over 9.88 acres, the facility aims to streamline regional transportation.

To facilitate construction of a flyover on Dimna Road, the administration has restricted heavy vehicle movement from Dimna to Mango. The flyover, which began construction in September 2024, is expected to be completed in 18 months. It will feature a four-lane stretch on Dimna Road and a two-lane section on Purulia Road, improving connectivity and reducing congestion.
