AAI to launch ₹995-cr Project in Arunachal Pradesh
The Union Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region informed that the Airports Authority of India is set to inaugurate a greenfield airport in Hollongi, Arunachal Pradesh, at an estimated cost of ₹995 crore. It is expected to be commissioned by 2022. The total spread area of the project is 320 hectares, while the terminal area is 4,100 square metres. The airport will be able to cater to the narrow-body jets like the Airbus A321 in the first phase and will have a capacity of managing around 200 passengers in peak hours.
