208 Infra Projects Worth ₹15.39 Lakh Cr Evaluated Under PM Gati Shakti

A milestone has been reached with the assessment of 208 major infrastructure projects worth ₹15.39 lakh crore, across various ministries, aligned with PM Gati Shakti principles. Additionally, 434 projects under three economic corridors of the Ministry of Railways—covering Energy, Mineral, and Cement Corridors, High Traffic Density Corridors, and Rail Sagar—have been evaluated and shared with the PMO.
The PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (NMP) has led to significant improvements in project planning, speed, and execution across sectors. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has planned over 8,891 km of roads using NMP, while the Ministry of Railways (MoR) has charted more than 27,000 km of railway lines. Notably, MoR completed 449 Final Location Surveys (FLS) in FY '22, a substantial increase from 57 in FY '21.
This initiative is reshaping India’s infrastructure landscape, aiming to build a seamless multimodal transportation network by integrating ministry efforts and advanced technologies, ultimately reducing logistics costs and enhancing connectivity nationwide.
