The company has surpassed boundaries and also bagged many international awards like 'Global Achiever's Award' for Excellence in Construction Machinery in Thailand and 'Indo-Nepal Trade' Award for Construction Machinery Exports.
Spartan's state-of–the-art manufacturing facilities at Kalwa in New Mumbai and Atgaon on Mumbai-Nasik highway are fully equipped with world-class machinery to produce a variety of high-quality construction equipment like tower crane, bar bending machines, bar cutting machines, man and material hoists, multi-functional material hoists, rope suspended platforms, and MFH zip. Over the years, the company has vertically integrated all the manufacturing activities including designing, fabrication, machining, assembling, testing, finishing and dispatch in-house under the supervision of its stringent quality control team.
In its quest to produce more innovative products, the company has recently reengineered its cutting machine to make it more efficient, economical, and rugged. "Even if we are leaders in bar cutting & bending machines, we have never stopped and relaxed on it," asserts Mr. Mehta adding that the company has recently done quite a few value additions in its cutting & bending machines to enhance its operational efficiency. "Besides, Spartan has always been a trendsetter in bringing world-class designs with international safety features in hoists. Our multi-functionality approach to hoists has put us in a league of being innovative, thereby delivering value added products."
According to Mr Mehta, Spartan's machines are equally eco-friendly on various fronts of energy consumption. "The unique Uni-case gear box design ensures less wear & tear and low noise during operation. The gear box and motor used is one of the best in industry, delivering 94% efficiency. It allows less than 6% loss in power conversion, which is the minimum in the industry as of now. It has highly efficient 9.2 kW motor, which ensures low power consumption."
Mr Mehta believes that the equipment market has reached at a critical point where key competitive differentiator would be after market and innovations. "We agree that along with being innovative, after market services count a lot when it comes to maintaining leadership position. We are trying to come closer to customers by conducting Preventive Maintenance Clinics (PMC) and signing Spare Parts Rate Contracts. Additionally, we have increased the number of service engineers to 150 so as to deliver the services within the promised time-frame. We have invested in world-class Oracle ERP System for receiving call management & service module. For being innovative, we have ramped up the strength of our design team by ten times. This is apart from investing on high-end IT systems and 3D software for faster & accurate designs."
