TIL: World-Class Crushing & Screening Solutions

Raj Shrivastava
Raj Shrivastav, Executive in Charge, Crushing, Screening & HMAP

"We have seen a strong support and increased demand for our equipment. Business participation and revenues have improved. We are confident of accelerating this pace with intense focus in the market, strengthening brand value, building capabilities and increasing market offerings."

TIL is offering the latest crushing & screening solutions in partnership with global companies.

TIL is in close partnership with Telsmith Inc., Kolberg Pioneer Inc. (KPI), Johnson Crushers International (JCI) and Astec Mobile Screens (AMS), all of which belong to Astec Aggregate & Mining Group (AAMG). This co-operation results in the design, manufacture, marketing, and service support of a range of world-class Track Mobile Plants, Wheeled Portable Plants, Stationary Plants, Unit Equipment manufactured at TIL’s Kharagpur Works in West Bengal (viz. Jaw Crushers, Cone Crushers, Vertical Shaft Impactors, Vibrating Screens & Vibrating Grizzly Feeders) and High Frequency Screens (imported from AMS) for mining and quarry operations in India. These machines are superior by design, amply dimensioned and robust in construction. With infrastructure projects being fast-tracked, with stringent timelines and quality guidelines, customers are more receptive to superior Crushing & Screening equipment with higher efficiency and productivity.

A superior quality of M-Sand in terms of its heterogeneity and gradation, meeting IS standards, will further escalate demand.

With ban on use of river and beach sand, demand for Manufactured Sand has grown enormously. TIL, in association with AAMG, currently promotes the dry process of separating fines in the production of M-Sand, which is effective in terms of productivity, cost of operations and maintenance. The dry process, using a High Frequency Screen (HFS), is less expensive with minimum operating cost, easy to maintain and does not use water. However, we are also expanding offerings to give customers a choice.

Going forward, customers will demand end-to-end solutions and strong customer service and support.

With the revival of the infrastructure sector, the Construction Equipment market is back with a bang. There is a massive demand for Crushing & Screening equipment to provide crushed aggregates for road, airport, railways, real estate, and industrial projects. Customers will demand shorter delivery times, larger capacities and high availabilities. This has already led to increased competition, with newer entrants. Going forward, customers will also demand end-to-end solutions combined with strong customer service and support. Of course, growth of this segment will be hugely dependent on government policies.

Astec-TIL offers well laid out Crushing & Screening plants that ensure ease of feeding, processing and extraction of crushed product. Design standardization ensures reduced lead times. TIL is focused on parts and service support through several stock points and a team of experienced service personnel skilled at trouble shooting and operator training.
