How is Spartan positioned in the CE market?
Manufacturer and supplier of high-quality construction equipment, Spartan Engineering Industries has become an established domestic player. Plus, its exports to 10 countries worldwide; more than 7000 machines on site every year; over 150 well-trained engineers and technicians; 30 national and international awards; and 4000 plus satisfied customers have made it a well-known brand also in global markets.

Spartan is providing machineries to infrastructure projects like roads, flyovers, bridges, houses, dams and tunnels. Our range of products include Bar Bending Machines, Bar Cutting Machines, Spiral Bending Machines, Stirrup Bending Machines, Scrap Bar Straightening Machines, Passenger and Material Hoists, Multi-Functional Material Hoists, Rope Suspended Platforms, and Lift Shaft, Mini-lifts, Firemen Evacuation Lifts, and Boom Placers.

We aim to strengthen our global infrastructure through our offices located in Dubai, Brazil, and Colombo, and become a leading market shareholder in 10 countries. Our target is to become a Rs 500-crore diversified group, gain a 10% net profit by the year 2026, and expand our global presence to 25 countries.

What new technology is Spartan adopting?
Spartan’s success lies in its research and developments and in innovating new products and solutions. The company is incorporating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in its Marketing & Training programs. This will give us a strong competitive edge in the market as a manufacturer of high-tech construction equipment. Spartan boasts of a state-of–the-art manufacturing facility at Atgaon on the Mumbai-Nashik highway. Spread across 5 acres with one lakh sq.ft. of built-up shed and office, the factory has in-house facilities for Fabrication, Production, Assembly, Testing, R&D, Design Spares Management, and Dispatch. It is equipped with world-class machineries for manufacturing a wide range of construction equipment, including fire evacuation lifts.

What opportunities does the company see in the Government’s announcement of major infra development projects?
India is on the path to becoming the world’s fastest-growing economy, and the Construction Industry will be a major beneficiary of this outcome. The Government has announced many infrastructure and realty projects, and Spartan is ready to take the opportunities with a leadership position in the CE industry.

In our Rack and Pinion Hoist business, we are working towards becoming one of the largest manufacturers, and also position ourselves strongly in the Rental and Refurbishing businesses.
