This year, we delivered our first ATF 400T and 220T All Terrain Cranes in India and also succeeded in selling our small Rough Terrain Crane (12MT) in the public sector.

Our next generation RT cranes have two energy saving modes like the Eco mode and Fuel Monitoring system, which help reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 30%, and minimize the noise level too. Our cranes enable low downtime, high productivity, and easy operation. Their features are asymmetric extension width of outriggers, working area restriction function, and Hello Net for ease of operation. The Smart Chart feature expands the working area, allowing user to get the best performance in any outrigger extension set-up.

HELLO-NET and Automatic Moment Limiter provide advanced customer support at site

Our HELLO-NET system is used to monitor crane activity from a computer or mobile device. The customer can view the machine’s work history, position, data and maintenance schedule.

Our cranes are equipped with AML (Automatic Moment Limiter) which monitors the crane operations and displays all the vital information to the operator. The AML-C safety features provide both audible and visual warnings. When an operation approaches the load limit, Tadano’s slow stop function acts to avoid shock loads.

Preventive maintenance by our trained service team is a regular activity that we offer customers post the warranty period. This is backed by prompt delivery of spare parts to ensure timely completion of repairs to reduce the downtime of the machine.

The impact of Demonetization and GST will take some time to settle down

Demonetization and GST have been two transformational decisions taken within nine months of each other, and an impact was bound to be felt. It will take some time for things to settle down. The crane industry saw a slowdown, especially in the rental segment, but the situation is improving. Emission norms for CEV and registration of Mobile Cranes were two other factors that impacted registration of cranes, but the iCEMA members have sorted them out.
