R&D is a continuous activity at RD Minerals, and we keep upgrading our machines for higher capacity and performance efficiency on a regular basis.
We have a strong design team and we also use the help of international consultants in improving our range of machinery. We have now introduced an entire new series of cones which will vastly improve our offering to our clients and increase their options. Design of structures are constantly upgraded and have been made modular to ensure better performance, easier transportation and erection at site. We endeavour to improve designs to ensure best performance per unit of power used. These changes are incremental.
All our manufacturing is done in-house, hence, the critical parts and spares are always readily available and can be supplied immediately. Our team also helps clients to manage their inventory of spares.
We offer automated crushing plants as an option to clients.
Our recently introduced automation in our plants enables the entire plant to be run by a single person at the controls and ensures optimum feeding and crushing by each individual machine, which improves the overall efficiency of the plant.
Automation is especially popular where there is a shortage of skilled operators, and the working conditions are poor. Recent improvements in the hardware, use of sensors etc have also made our plants more efficient.

There is growing demand for larger capacity plants and equipment that meet project-based requirements.
Even for local commercial crushing plants, the ‘new normal’ is larger than the earlier one. In keeping with this demand trend, we have been introducing larger capacity machines for each stage of crushing plants, including 1000 tph capacity.
In view of the growing demand for washed, manufactured sand, we are supplying hydrocyclone washers that can wash up to 200 tph of M-Sand.
We conduct regular operator meets to educate and inform them about our machines’ new features, technical advancements, capabilities, and maintenance.
At the end of the day, a machine/plant is only as good as the person handling it. We offer training at our factory to the operators of our clients on the intricacies of our machines. Though our machines are rugged and relatively easy to use, operators still need to be trained on their usage and capabilities so that they can be used efficiently and optimally.
Such operator meets are also a great opportunity to take feedback from people who work on our crushers daily. The feedback helps us to improve our products and introduce newer and more advanced features in our machines.
Overall demand and private investments will need to increase to boost business sentiment and achieve sustained growth.
In all fairness, we understand the severe stress that the economy went through in the last two years, and we understand the limitations of any government in such a scenario. The Budget 2022-23 has huge investments planned for the infrastructure sector, which has brought some cheer to the CE Industry. We hope the markets normalise soon and once again attract large investments in Infrastructure development.
