Premraj Kashyap - KYB Conmat India
We have lined up a battery of new launches at the grandiose event. We will showcase our two new self-loading transit mixers, new range of compact batching plants of 30-45-60 cum/hr capacities, wheel loaders of 1.2 cum and 1.6 cum, and our new range of tower batch mix plants.
Our new launches will expand and consolidate KYB Conmat’s presence in the highly competitive concreting equipment business.
Japanese Concrete Equipment manufacturing conglomerate, KYB Conmat is banking on technology to create competitive products. Completely manufactured with our own design at our Vadodara facility, the self-loading mixers will be available in 4 and 4.5 cum capacities. Unlike other European designed transit mixers, which generally cater to the usage of high slump concrete, our solutions will be for low slump concrete, making them suitable for irrigation canal construction.
Our new range of compact batching plants of 30-45-60 cum/hr capacities feature twin shaft mixers with deep bucket conveyors. They are uniquely designed as they will be occupying 40 percent lesser space, making them 11 meters horizontally in contrast to the conventional plants with their 30-meter footprint. The compactness will enable lesser set-up time and transportation cost.
We will be promoting our wheel loaders of 1.2 cum and 1.6 cum through a marketing collaboration initially, but in due course we will start manufacturing them at our facility, which is being expanded to cater to the new product lines. Our wheel loaders will be promoted as a package offering to our customers which are using our other concrete products, and they will also be targeted for quarry owners, M-sand manufacturers, and RMC producers. We are also contemplating manufacturing mobile crushers and asphalt batch mix plants.
Our new range of tower batch mix plant with a vertical storage silo, is very suitable for use in construction sites in crammed cities. With a vertical silo and an elevated conveyor, the plant will be fully enclosed, resulting in negligible dust pollution. We manufacture stationary concrete batch mix plants of 30-45-60-90-120, 160 and 240 cum/hr, and mobile concrete batching plants of 20-25-30 cum/hr.
We are integrating digitization to make our products and solutions adaptable to jobsite requirements.
To ensure higher availability of our equipment and to reduce owning and operating costs, KYB is adopting digitization. Backed by our program logic control systems and our in-house developed software, we are incorporating IoT to enhance machine usage and performance and to fully monitor them. Monitoring will help prevent pilferage and enable preventive and predictive maintenance. Digitization will also keep the machine’s operating costs under control.
KYB, being a technology driven company, had initiated digitization earlier to ensure optimization of its machines, and now we are upgrading our digitized solutions and integrating them further in our equipment.
The results of the PTO driven transit mixers have been encouraging as the operating costs are lesser.
We have sold 1000 units and are working with manufacturers of engine and chassis to meet the new emission norms for our transit mixers. KYB offers power take off (PTO) and slave engine driven transit mixers ranging from 6 cum to 8 cum. So far, the results of the PTO driven transit mixers has been encouraging as the operating costs are lesser.
To ensure higher levels of utilization of its machines, and resultant better return on investments, KYB is training and upskilling the operators at its centralized training set-up. It also plans to strengthen its branch offices to curtail lead times for parts support. The company has regional offices in Kolkata, Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, Indore, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
KYB is exporting to almost 25 countries.
KYB exports its wide range of concreting solutions to almost 25 countries. Products include concrete batch mix plants, canal pavers, stationary and mobile pumps. The company is also carrying our technological improvements in its existing product lines, backed by a strong R&D, manufacturing capability, and customer support.
