What will be the company’s focus during its participation at Bauma Conexpo India 2016?
Our main objective is to introduce the latest trenchless/Horizontal Directional Drill technology to our Indian contractors. We are also introducing the rock-cutting solutions with the latest functionality features.
What products and services will be launched/displayed at the show? Kindly highlight the USP of one of your newly introduced products.
We introduced the latest trenchless technology last year. All the models will be on display at bauma Conexpo India including A400 HDD, A800 HDD and the newly launched A600 HDD with all tooling and rock-cutting solutions too. The up-coming models like A200 HDD and A1200 HDD will be launched in the next financial year.
The primary USP of Apollo HDD is that it is the first-of-its-kind in India. A400 HDD is available with semi-automatic features, and is more economical than the Chinese HDDs’. A600 and A800 HDD is available with fully automatic and new features like rack and pinion systems, auto-reloading systems and auto-drill functions with half rotations.
Higher uptime, low operating cost, strong after-sales service, and spare parts availability have become key selling points. How is your company strengthening its position in these areas?
We are primarily focusing on after-sales support in a prompt manner. We have a qualified service engineers team assigned in Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, and Kolkata, which can reach customers in minimum lead-time. We have also opened warehouses in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, and Kolkata. Stocks of parts are well organized by us with smooth transportation in minimum time to customer site. Prompt dispatch of spares, smooth transportation facility, quick deployment of engineers on site, and immediate action against breakdown have build our good reputation in the market. Also, the operating and maintenance cost of our equipment is lesser than any other Chinese HDDs.
What is your view on the growth of the construction equipment industry in India?
The Government is focusing on infrastructure development and adopting the latest technology for construction. We are expecting a positive growth of the construction equipment industry.
