What is your view on the growth of the Construction Equipment industry in India?
The Construction Equipment Industry is recovering since the last one year. The thrust on Infrastructure projects by the Central & several State Governments will maintain the pace of growth in 2016-17 as well. Going forward, lower interest rates and GST implementation along with acceleration of Infra projects will further boost growth of the CE Industry.
In today’s scenario, customers are expecting new technologies & innovations in their equipment for their project needs. So manufacturers should bring in new technologies and focus on product development to suit the current needs of their customers.
We introduced the Self Loading Concrete Mixer way back in 1992. It revolutionised the way of concreting in various infrastructure projects in India. We understand our customer needs and time to time develop new technologies and added features in our machines. We constantly seek feedback from our customers on product development to enhance the performance of our products.
Strong after-sales services and spare parts availability are also key selling points. How is your company strengthening its position in these areas?
Product support has been one of our key differentiators. These capital equipment needs immediate attention as customers expect minimum downtime for maintenance as they are working against shorter deadlines for completing projects. We, at Ajax Fiori, understand this and have spread ourselves accordingly. Our centralised Parts Logistics Centre is situated in Bangalore and we have company warehouses in various parts of the country such as Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Indore, Guwahati, and Trichy.
We have dealers in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattis- garh, and Odisha. We expect to cover around 95% of the market through dealership within the next 2 years.
Our state-of-the-art service centre is now operational in Hyderabad apart from the one in Bangalore for overhauling and refurbishing of machines and components.
What will be the company’s focus during its participation at bauma Conexpo India 2016?
Ajax Fiori has been a participant at bauma Conexpo since its inception. It is a very good platform to launch new products and services. It offers a wonderful opportunity for customers across segments to witness the technological developments in the field of Construction Equipment. As a manufacturer of Concreting Equipment, we expect this event would enhance our penetration in niche markets and new application segments for our product range.
What products and services will be launched/displayed at the show? Kindly highlight the USPs of one of your newly introduced products?
Ajax Fiori is focused on R&D and technological innovations in all its product-focused solutions. Our new products are always based on customer’s changing needs and feedback. Our team continuously works on bringing new products into the market as required by the concreting needs of the construction industry.
This edition of bC India will witness the following equipment launch/display:
- Launch of new model JSP 50 Stationary Concrete Pump with pumping capacity of 50 cu.m/hr. with added features. Ajax Fiori launched its Stationary Concrete Pump JSP 40 & JSP 70 in 2013 with a capacity of 40 cu/m/hr and 70 cu.m/hr, respectively.
- Full range of Self Loading Concrete Mixers with new features to improve the consistency and reliability of the quality of weighing system.
- Compact Reduced Bin Batching Plant CRB 30 with an output capacity of 30 cu.m/hr.
- Reduced height of the bin, thereby eliminates need for a separate conveyor
- Aggregate weighing system is independent of skip transfer system, thereby reducing the cycle time
- Planetary Mixer as a standard with the plant to suit RMC and Pre-cast needs
- Modular design, foldable during transportation
