Chennai based Mahaveer Safety Glass is pushing the envelope of processed products in glass, with its FUSO brand. Mr. R.K. Chouhan, Director, Mahaveer Safety Glass Co (P) Ltd., talks to Varsha Trehan about the company.

For our readers could you please briefly introduce your company?
Mahaveer Safety Glass Co.(P) Ltd., (MSGPL) is a part of Mahaveer Group Companies. The Group is in Glass field for more than four decades. MSGPL, promoted in the year 2004, is one of the largest glass processors in South India. Its factory at Irungattukkottai, Sriperumpudur (near Chennai) houses the most modern machinery and the latest technology in glass processing. Run by highly qualified professionals in the field, MSGPL gives many varieties of processed glass with high precision and service, to its valued customers under Brand Name FUSO.

The construction glass industry is seeing a boom. How do you see Mahaveer Safety Glass holding up in this very competitive scenario?
The motto of MSGPL is to deliver its customers their expectations, in terms of product, quality, and service. MSGPL regularly updates market trends and technology, which leads MSGPL ahead of its competitors. MSGPL is an authorized processor for leading glass manufacturers like Saint-Gobain, Asahi, Pilkington, Glaverbel, etc., and is technically supported by AGP, Singapore and FUSO products strictly conform relevant standard specifications.

MSGPL houses high precision machines of international repute. The unique water jet cutting machine, pre-processing machine, double edger machine, and auto-vertical drilling machine enable highly sophisticated glass cutting and processing with utmost accuracy.

The qualified technical team of MSGPL provides the right solution to each customer in glass applications. Based on the usage area, location of structure, exposure to sunlight, noise pollution, etc., MSGPL technical team suggests the right choice of glass processing in each case. It suggests that apart from elegance in glass application, safety, strength and security factors are to be considered in deciding glass.
