How is the Project Cargo segment growing with India’s logistics industry?
Project Cargo has always been a significant segment of India’s EXIM trade. Project movements were mainly focused on the petrochemical industry, renewable energies involving hydropower, solar energy, wind energy, bioenergy, and geothermal energy, significantly contributing to the surging demand.
The Indian Government’s Make in India push has been a boon for infrastructure projects. The series of announcements on infrastructure development presents a multi-fold future growth outlook for project logistics. There will be many projects in the years to come where India will be the focal point. India has been very vocal about preserving the environment and sustainability. We at Jet freight understand the importance of the project vertical and aim to venture into this vertical in 2023 and spread our service offerings so that we can grow along with the Indian economy.
What preparations has Jet Freight done to ensure growth in the ODC segment with regards to the necessary infrastructure, material handling equipment, ocean freight, chartering, and warehousing?
Jet Freight is already meeting project specialists for understanding this business more precisely. Streamlining the process is one of the critical aspects as the service delivery of project shipments is an essential feature of project handling. Handling projects needs innovative solutions with technological advancements which will rationalize project cargo logistics. We are also in consultation with corporates related to infrastructure, industrial projects, and EV manufacturers to know how we can facilitate project customers and contribute toward a sustainable environment and growth.

We have transit warehouses for EXIM requirements and transportation to service prominent customers. We are associated with vendors for the warehousing of ODC shipments. We personalize our services and work aggressively to deliver economic success to our customers.
How is Jet Freight currently positioned in the Indian Logistics Industry?
Jet Freight has been a major freight forwarder for more than three decades, and a well-known brand in Air Freight. We now aim to expand our footprint in ocean and surface transport. During the pandemic, we worked extensively on a hybrid model of transport with customized services to deliver shipments at the committed time.

It was a proud moment at the Air Cargo India Exhibition 2022 when we were recognized and awarded by Emirates Sky Cargo as one of their top supporters. The award was given by Stat Times as the best international freight forwarder in India, and was bestowed by Celebi Cargo Terminal Delhi for supporting Celebi with maximum volumes of perishable goods in the Delhi region. We were awarded as a diversified freight forwarder during the Transformance forum in Feb 2022. These awards are a motivation and encouragement for JFLL to walk the extra mile to meet our customers logistics requirements.
