At Excon, our objective is to introduce new products alongside our largest selling Cutting, Bending Machines, and Hoists. This year, we’re going to launch Spartan Multi-functional Minilifts (SML 100 & SML 50), and SkyClimber series of Rope Suspended Passenger & Material Lift (SRPL), which we’re sure will revolutionize the material movement industry.

We are hopeful that in the next financial year, things will be better

Due to GST, Demonetization, and RERA, the industry is going through a tough phase, but in the long-run, the industry would benefit. But what is to be seen is the execution and fulfilling the promises made by the government, and we hope that it will come up with some better policies so that we can come out of the current scenario. The industry is somewhat skeptical now, but we are keeping our fingers crossed. Though, nothing seems to be easy till the end of the year, I think that in the next financial year (2017 – 2018), things will be better.

Numerous safety features make Spartan Hoists more reliable and competitive

All our Aviator Series of Multifunctional Material and Passenger Hoists come with Centrifugal Safety Device, which activates by centrifugal force and stops the hoist in case its speed exceeds a specific limit.

Many such safety factors are part of our every machine. Control Panel is one of the most advanced features of our hoists, which you would hardly find in any of our competitor’s. It has a flash light, a joystick for easy operation, and emergency switches. The PLC functions cover indicators like VFD Trip, Limit Switch Failure, Phase Failure Exit Door, Open Entry Door, Rack Search fault etc.

SkyClimber Series Rope Suspeded Platform, Spartan

The more premium models also have a display screen, where the actual fault is displayed for easy identification and repair, and can be easily viewed by the operator. These machines come with mechanical locks and electrical sensors in critical areas like entry/exit door, trap door, erection platform etc, so that the hoist does not start if any door is left open. To add to these, an overload alarm indicator is also provided as an option.

Our Rope Suspended Platforms have safety features like Anti-Swing Device, which is one of the most advanced features of Spartan’s SRP, where it holds on the SRP and avoids its swinging at higher heights, and ensures operator’s safety. Our SRP also comes with Roof Attachment where the platform and the operator are safe from falling material or debris from the top. All these safety features make Spartan’s hoists more reliable and competitive.

Over 20 professionals in our R&D constantly innovate and upgrade our machines

Spartan- SML 50
The company’s team of over 20 professionals in our R&D study the latest developments in construction equipment and the Infrastructure industry, to constantly innovate and upgrade our machines so that they are in line with the latest trends in technology. The team conducts exhaustive research on the mechanisms of the currently available machines, at both national and international levels. Our design team, well-armed with the latest 3D design software like Solidworks, works in tandem with the business development team to innovate and launch new products.

Our customers have a pan-India access to Spartan’s genuine spare parts

We offer our customers AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) and PMC (Preventive Maintenance Clinics) for maintaining the machines and providing training support. We also provide technical solutions for issues related to work sites, safety audits of machines etc, to keep the machines in the best working condition.

Our customers have a pan-India access to Spartan’s genuine spare parts, which make machines run more efficiently, with a longer lifespan, and lesser safety risk, thereby, protecting our client’s investment. The company also offers a rate contract for Spartan spares, which helps save customer’s time, money, and efforts.

We will be expanding our reach in these areas as well by expanding our dealer network. Currently, we have 8 branch offices and 4 dealerships across India. We are also focusing on our export business. We have a dealer present in Dubai, Sri Lanka, and South Africa, and are getting a good response from these markets.

New at Excon 2017

Spartan- Aviator Series Multi functional Hoist Cage
Excon has always been our priority in terms of expo participation and promotion. This year, our core objective would be to introduce our new products alongside our Cutting, Bending Machines, and Hoists. Spartan will launch a product which would revolutionize material movement for projects not more than 70 meters.

In our effort to ban the use of the unsafe builder hoist, we have developed Spartan Multifunctional Minilift (SML 100), which is a wire rope-driven minilift that can carry various materials of 1-ton capacity. The other is the Spartan Multifunctional Minilift (SML 50) which can carry 500 kgs. These machines have different attachments for carrying different materials in a very cost-effective way. Attachments include Passenger Mini Cage, Rebar Carrier, Bricks Carrier, Sand Bucket, Material Basket, Concrete Bucket, Glass/Marble Lifter, and Wheel Barrow. Optional features include wireless remote control and over-load protection.

Safety features are:
  • Double Fall Wire Rope system which reduces swinging effect of load while lifting.
  • Top limit switch for preventing over travel.
  • Motor with electromagnetic brake system to prevent free-fall in case of power failure.
  • Made in Europe winch motor with CE certification for high performance and efficiency.
  • Anti-swing wire rope arrangement for attachments (mentioned above).
  • Free-fall arrester brake device for the attachments.
  • Erection jib for safe and fast assembly of gantry frame.
We will also launch our SkyClimber series of Rope Suspended Passenger & Material Lift (SRPL) in 2 variants of 700 kg and 800 kg. It is the best alternative to scaffolding for all activities in lift shafts like Rail Installation, Plastering, Painting and Pipe Fitting. It comes with features like

Control Panel, Drive Unit, Guide Rollers, Side Extension Cage, Safety Lock Device, Ladder and Wheels, along with arrangements for installing as per the specifications of the Lift Shaft.
