Volvo Construction Equipment at Bauma
Volvo Construction Equipment displayed its large range of product at bauma. The company has extended its range of high reach demolition excavators with the launch of the EC460CHR. The new model features a 27.4m boom and arm and is supplied with both high-reach demolition boom and standard excavator configuration digging boom and arm, a changeover process that takes as little as 30 minutes.
The EC460CHR boasts enhanced engine power and torque, along with efficient slew speed and torque. The excavator also provides exactly tailored hydraulic flow and pressure output, allowing operators to get the most out of high-reach attachments such as pulverizers, grapples, crushers, hammers and shears. Speed from the Volvo 245 kW (333 metric hp) engine is matched to hydraulic flow, maximizing efficiency on combined operations such as lifting and slewing.
In addition, Volvo presented its SD115D/F, SD130D/DX/F and SD160DX/F single drum soil compactors that not only feature class leading operator comfort, but are also the first to offer with the innovative smart power management system.
The introduction of the EC15C, EC17C, EC18C and EC20C provides an improved and expanded range of compact excavators in the 1.5 to 2 tonne class. Other than these, compact wheel loader models L20F and L25F were also presented that offer a compact new design and the power to help operators perform work comfortably, quickly, safely and efficiently.
