Telcon – Celebrating 50 Years of Enduring Relationships

Telco Construction Equipment Company Limited (Telcon), the market leader in the Construction & Earthmoving Equipment industry in India participated in a big way in EXCON 2011. The pavilion was designed to project the overall theme of "50 Years of Enduring Relationships' in the Construction Equipment business. Telcon started its operations in the year 1961 as the Excavator Division in TATA Motors (then TATA Engineering) at Jamshedpur and completed 50 years of operation in the year 2011 as a full-fledged company as Telcon offering Constructive Solutions to the customers. It has been an eventful and memorable journey and what is cherished most is the productive and engaging relationships that have been built along the way with our valued customers.

The Telcon pavilion depicted four underlying themes reflecting the major focus areas and customer requirement based offerings. The theme Enduring Relationships depicted the popular and ubiquitous models of the EX Series viz. TMX20-2, EX70, EX110 & EX200LCi. EXCON 2011 also witnessed the completion of 20 Grand Years of EX200LCi, India's Most Popular & Most Populous Excavator.

Focusing on the Future has been the theme of the Zaxis Series of Excavators. The models displayed under this pavilion were ZX75, ZX120H, ZX210LCH, ZX370LCH & ZX450H Long Arm. Zaxis blends the latest in information and heavy equipment technologies to provide the performance and operating efficiency for lower total costs. These machines are ready to meet the challenges and the changes facing the construction industry of today and tomorrow.

Winning with Wheels has been the inspiration behind the innovations of the Wheeled Equipment. TATA 315E, TATA 315V, TATA 315L, TL 333HZ, TWL 3036, VM3, TM 06 and TM 08 exhibited in this pavilion showcased the latest technology adopted by Telcon to serve the changing needs of the customers.

We Stand by You is what Telcon communicated to the customers to reassure them about Spare Parts & Service support being rendered. The support solutions showed the various Service offering of Telcon viz. FMC, AMC, ASC etc. It also showcased the benefits of using Telcon Genuine Parts which can enhance the life of the machines. Telcon with 230+ Dealer touch points is geared to give the customers unmatched support both in terms of spare parts availability & value added services.

The Telcon pavilion witnessed a huge turnout of customers during the event. The customers had an opportunity to see the offerings of Telcon's products & services. Telcon launched three new models during EXCON 2011 viz. TL 333HZ – India's Most First Hydrostatic Wheel Loader, TATA 315L – the Loader version of the Most Powerful Backhoe Loader and TM 08 – The Transit Mixer.

TL 333HZ is also India's First Hydrostatic and Fuel Efficient Wheel Loader with an operating weight ranging from 10,470 kg to 10,600 kg. The loader bucket capacity ranges from 1.5 m³ to 2.5 m³. The machine is powered by BS III compliant TATA 497 TC IC engine with rated engine power of 101.5 PS @ 2300 rpm.

TATA 315L is powered by BS III compliant TATA 497 TC IC engine with a Gross Power of 86 HP @ 2200 rpm. This loader comes with a standard tilt dump bucket of 1.00 m³ capacity and an optional bucket of 1.2 m³ capacity. The operating weight of this machine is 7500 kg.

TM 08 is the new Transit Mixer with the Nominal Capacity of 8 m³; Power Rating of 75.7 KW / 101.5 HP and maximum drum speed of 14 rpm.

With the addition of these three new machines to the large product portfolio, Telcon is confident of addressing the ever growing demand of construction equipment market in India.
