Hyundai HX35Az Mini Excavator: Suitable for Constricted Work Sites

Concurring with other manufacturers on the key application areas of mini excavators and their demand drivers, Baksi adds, “Interest in mini excavators has been steady over recent years. Ongoing urbanization and infrastructure development are likely to further pull up the demand for these machines, marking a shift towards newer construction practices. The versatility of these machines is increasingly recognized, as evidenced by a 14% sales growth in 2023. Key applications of these compact and highly manuverable machines include digging, lifting, and material handling, all while providing excellent performance, comfort, and safety. Beyond construction, mini excavators are also used in landscaping, urban redevelopment, and industrial operations.”
Hyundai is promoting its HX35Az mini excavator model in the Indian market. “The machine is tailored for versatile use in agriculture, pipeline installations, and forestry sectors. The excavator excels in navigating through narrow spaces, making them suitable for projects in constricted work sites. Its standout feature is the ease of maintenance with conveniently accessible maintenance points, ensuring stable performance and longevity.”

“Equipped with robust Kubota engines, the HX35Az delivers stable performance and power. Responsive hydraulic systems and zero tail swing capabilities enable effective operations in tight spaces, enhancing maneuverability and efficiency. Advanced monitoring systems, such as the LCD cluster, provide real-time information, boosting productivity and safety on-site,” he adds.
The HX35Az comes with an operating weight range of 3.8-4.1 tons, a 2.4m boom, and a 1.3-1.6m arm. It delivers bucket digging force of 3281 kgf.
As part of its pre-sales initiative for the mini excavator, Hyundai Construction Equipment India is organizing site visits to engage with customers and ensure satisfaction by showcasing the machine's features and capabilities to potential users.
"These demonstrations offer firsthand experience and insight into the performance, efficiency, and versatility of mini excavators, enabling potential buyers to evaluate their suitability for specific construction tasks and projects," explains Baksi.
Hyundai Construction Equipment India (HCEI) also takes initiatives to run operator training programs focused on the efficient operation and maintenance of mini excavators. These programs cover topics such as equipment operation, safety protocols, and routine maintenance procedures.
“Furthermore, Hyundai’s ‘Takshila’ operators’ training programs, as part of our customer support, offer assistance to streamline maintenance workflows and enhance overall operational efficiency for mini excavators, similar to our other machines,” mentions Baksi.
