Namakkal Transport Carriers (NTC) came into existence in the year 1997 and was incorporated as a private Limited Company in 2001 with an objective to cater to the specific logistics needs of the business and trade. Today, NTC is one of the largest fleet owners in the country and is a Multi-national, Multi-million business conglomerate in allied and diversified field of activities and offers end-to-end logistics solutions for individuals and corporate alike.
From a humble beginning, today, this is a $65 million (Aprox. INR 400 Crores) group with over 1000 employees and provides indirect employment to 1400 drivers and helpers. It has recently added a 4 point jack to its equipment, a very sophisticated and expensive equipment, which was bought for lifting the metro rail coaches from the ship and placing on to the trailers. In the whole of India, this equipment is owned only by two companies, of which NTC is one.
