Xwatch Safety Solutions to Unveil Advanced MK2 Safety System at bauma 2025
Xwatch Safety Solutions, a part of Hexagon, will launch its latest MK2 safety and control system at bauma 2025. The MK2 builds upon its predecessor, offering a simpler, more intuitive, and faster-to-install solution, reducing installation time by 30%. This enhancement makes the system more adaptable and user-friendly, minimizing downtime for plant hire companies and contractors.

The MK2 retains all the advanced safety features of MK1, including height and slew restriction, Rated Capacity Indicator (RCI), and full integration across the XW1, XW2, XW3, XW4, and XW5 models.
New enhancements include revolutionary proportional motion control when driving electric over hydraulic valve blocks (pat. pending), a significant breakthrough in precision and efficiency. Graphics have been completely reworked, creating a more visually friendly and intuitive monitor interface in various languages. MK2 is telematics-ready for connected construction sites and is more compact, freeing up in-cab space.
Paving the way for future compatibility
Due to Xwatch’s long-term OEM machine integration strategy, it is built to be compatible with various OEM displays, minimising the need for additional hardware in the cab and ensuring seamless integration for manufacturers adopting the system.
“The MK2 system is designed to meet the evolving demands of the heavy construction industry by enhancing safety, boosting operational efficiency and minimising disruption,” says Dan Leaney, Xwatch Sales Director. As the industry embraces digital transformation and sustainable practices, the MK2 sets a new standard in intelligent safety solutions, ensuring that our customers are equipped with future-ready technology that adapts to their changing needs."
