Xander Group floats real estate platform in India

Global investment firm The Xander Group - a private equity real estate arm of the company, has floated an industrial real estate platform for India to acquire logistics assets. Singapore-based Xander Investment said it will invest $250 million in high-quality assets over the next 12 months. The platform has already acquired 2 million sqft of space in Mumbai and Chennai for about $85 million (₹600 crore). This portfolio is anchored by leading multinational and domestic corporations such as Amazon and TVS Logistics informed senior partner at Xander Group, Rohan Sikri, adding that the firm has been investing in the industrial and logistics sector over the past one decade. With the economy poised for retail, manufacturing and consumption growth, it is the opportune time for it to create a platform with like-minded investors for executing a long-term, targeted program, said, managing director at Xander Advisors India, Ram Reddy.
