The Greater Noida Authority has decided to redevelop the 23km Noida-Greater Noida expressway with bitumen technology along with construction of four underpasses to match global standards. A survey has already been carried out by the authorities and construction is set to start shortly after the Model Code of Conduct is lifted and the new government takes charge. The first underpass will be constructed from zero mile to 2.36 km through box pushing technology, for which the authority has earmarked Rs 97.67 crores. The second underpass, proposed to be of 19.40 km from zero mile, will entail investment of Rs 45.41 crores; and the third, with a length of 10.30 km from zero mile, has an estimated cost of Rs 43.64 crore.
