West Bengal Upgrades 3,611 km of Roads with ₹3,967 Cr Investment

West Bengal repaired, widened, and reinforced 3,611 km of roads between April 2023 and June 2024 at a cost of ₹3,967 crore, PWD Minister Pulak Roy informed the assembly. Additionally, ₹207 crore was spent on repairing damaged stretches of 7,765 km of roads.

The West Bengal Highway Development Corporation Ltd is enhancing connectivity across the state, with the four-laning of Kalyani Expressway nearing completion and set to be fully operational soon.
