The Welspun Road Infra, a wholly owned subsidiary of Welspun Enterprises Limited, has executed a concession agreement with teh PWD of Maharashtra for upgrading two lane roads with paved shoulders under MRIP Package on hybrid annuity model (HAM) Package No AM 2 in Amravati in Maharashtra involving an investment of ₹1,460 crore. WRIPL will develop the project for which the first year of operation and maintenance cost will be worth ₹31.50cr. The construction period is 2 years from the appointed date and operation and maintenance period is 10 years after the date of commercial operation. The company, which is engaged in the road construction for the past 35 years, has already commissioned a large number of projects in road, bridges, water infra, industrial and real estate sectors.
