VMRDA to Develop Base and Land Use Maps for Merged Mandals

The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) will create a base map and an existing land use map for newly merged mandals, covering about 2,456 sq km. These maps will serve as a foundation for the master plan and zonal development plans.

The mapping process will utilize differential global positioning system (DGPS) technology and topographic surveys to ensure accuracy in planning and development.
