UP approves ₹420-cr infra projects in Ayodhya

UP Government has cleared a proposal for the construction of a bus terminal matching global standards and involving an investment of ₹400 crore. A grand temple of Lord Ram is being built in Ayodhya and devotees from around the globe are expected to visit Ayodhya. Keeping this in mind, the proposal was approved. For the construction of the bus terminal, nine acres of land of the culture department is being handed over to the transport department. The buses will be run between Ayodhya and all major cities of the state from the proposed terminal.

Apart from this, the Cabinet approved a proposal to build a four-lane flyover on the Ayodhya-Sultanpur road with a length of 1.5-km at a cost of ₹20 crore.

The Cabinet also approved the construction of a bus station at Anoopshahr in Bulandshahr and a four-lane flyover at GT Road in Allahabad.
