Union Minister Inaugurates Rooftop Solar Plant at GSITI, Hyderabad

Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, inaugurated a Rooftop Solar Power Plant at the Geological Survey of India Training Institute (GSITI) in Hyderabad. This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a cleaner and greener India.

The solar plant aims to significantly reduce GSITI's carbon footprint by generating a substantial portion of the institute's energy needs. It supports the broader national goal of boosting renewable energy's share in India's energy mix, promoting sustainability within government institutions.
