Tripura Gets Rs 68.67 Crore for 25 New PM-JANMAN Rural Road Projects

Rular-Road-Project
The Ministry of Rural Development has approved 25 road projects spanning 65.38 km under the PM-JANMAN Road Connectivity component for Tripura, with a total investment of Rs 68.67 crore. These projects will provide all-weather road connectivity to 30 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) habitations and significantly improve socio-economic conditions in remote areas.

The improved road network will enhance rural mobility, boost trade and commerce, and ensure better access to healthcare, education, and markets. It will also create local employment opportunities, stimulate village-level economies, and support the Government's vision of a prosperous Northeast and a Viksit Bharat.

The PM-JANMAN projects are expected to have a transformative impact on Tripura’s tribal communities, strengthening connectivity and driving inclusive development across the region.
