Tracks & Towers Infratech Private Limited has recently secured a railway contract worth ₹2,287 crore from RITES. The scope of work in the contract included earthwork in railway formation including filling and cutting, blanketing and construction of Bridges, P-way Track linking works including supply of railway track ballast and P-way material materials, fittings and fixtures (excluding supply of RAILS) etc, in connection with construction of railway infrastructure to serve Khargone STPP (2X660) MW at Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh for MIS NTPC. The contract pertains to be the balance work of Package- III- Ch 24.00 to Ch 28.00 km & Package- IV- Ch 28.00 to Ch 29.90 km, said an official spokesperson, claiming that the company emerged as the successful bidder and is in receipt of the respective AOC for the project in question, which is expected to be completed in 245 days.
