Titagarh Wagons wins ₹1,740-cr offshore orders

In a newest development, railway wagon manufacturer Titagarh Wagons has announced the new order win by its Italian subsidiary worth ₹1,740.60 crore for design, manufacture and supply of 54 units for Italy Metro train network.

The company said in a statement that Titagarh Firema SPA, the wholly owned subsidiary in Italy, has already been awarded the Letter of Acceptance to supply 54 units of Metro for Ferrovia Circumetnea, Italy. The total value of the LoA is Euro 216 million amounting to ₹1740.60 crore. The company, which is based in Kolkata, is the largest private sector player manufacturing coaches for the Indian railways, bailey bridges, and mining equipment.
