Titagarh Firema launches Integrated Design Centre in Kolkata & Hyderabad

Titagarh Group has launched the Integrated Design Centre for Metro Rails in Kolkata and Hyderabad. It was inaugurated via video conferencing by Durga Shankar Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA). He said that it is the first of its kind being developed by an Indian company and it is going to be a paperless production line with high-quality assurance. The company is happy to see the enthusiasm of the young, highly talented and experienced team. High motivation and high commitment to 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' will yield results, and Titagarh Group is confident that it will be able to provide a high-quality product, certified as per international standards through it. The group has planned to substitute imported components of rolling stocks with locally manufactured or outsourced parts and move towards 100% Indian components within 3 years and then target the global market. They will use high-level technologies such as IoT, AI & ML in the manufacturing process.
