The 42 in Kolkata bags 'tallest tower' tag in India

Twin Tower
Standing majestically with a towering height of 268 metres, The 42 in Kolkata has now bagged the tallest tower tag in India, overtaking other high rises like The Imperial in Mumbai. The roof of the 62-nd floor was added to the building earlier this month, making it officially the tallest structure in the country. The 42 now dominates Kolkata's skyline and it overlooks the Maidan and the Hooghly River. Its construction has been completed. A N Shroff of Alcove Realty, one of the three companies working on the project, said in a media statement that in Kolkata, The 42 surpasses the 161m Urbana and the Forum Atmosphere and Westin of approximately 150 metres each. New age developments like these will impart an international and global favor to the city, commented Harsh Patodia of Unimark Group.
