Telangana Approves ₹162.54 Cr for Munneru-Paleru Link Canal

The Telangana government has sanctioned ₹162.54 crore for the construction of the Munneru-Paleru Link Canal, aimed at diverting approximately 10 TMC of floodwaters from the Munneru River to the Paleru Reservoir.

The project is expected to stabilise irrigation for about 2.54 lakh acres of farmland, including 1.30 lakh acres in the Paleru constituency, boosting agricultural productivity and water security in the region.
