Siemens Secures ₹773 Cr Orders from MAHA-METRO for Nagpur Metro Phase 2

Siemens Limited has secured two major orders worth ₹773 crore from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA-METRO) for the Nagpur Metro Rail Project Phase 2, including augmentation of Phase 1.
The orders involve the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) signaling systems and cutting-edge telecommunication technologies. The project, spanning 43.8 kilometers and 32 stations, is scheduled to be completed within 42 months.
Siemens' technology will enhance operational efficiency, ensure 100% train punctuality, enable optimized headways, and support energy savings, all while maintaining the highest safety standards for passengers across the Nagpur Metro network.
