Shri Nitin Gadkari Approved ₹1,255.59 Cr for Northern Patiala Bypass

Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, has announced the approval of ₹1,255.59 crore for the construction of the 28.9 km, 4-lane access-controlled Northern Patiala Bypass. This project aims to alleviate traffic congestion in Patiala, enhance regional connectivity, and facilitate smooth logistics movement, significantly boosting the region's infrastructure and economy.

In a post on ‘X,’ Gadkari stated, “This new bypass will complete the ring road around Patiala, reducing traffic congestion and improving connectivity while facilitating the movement of goods. It will provide a major boost to the area's infrastructure and economy.”
