KEC International rakes up ₹1,323-cr contracts

KEC
EPC company KEC International, has bagged multiple orders worth ₹1,323 crore in railways, civil, smart city infrastructure, cable laying, power transmission and distribution (T&D) segments. Its T&D business has secured turnkey orders of ₹287 crore including an extension of the 765-KV GIS substation order from Powergrid (PGCIL), a 132 KV GIS substation order in UAE, and various orders from SAE Towers in the Americas. In addition, its railway business wing has secured orders for composite and overhead electrification work aggregating to ₹644 crore in India; while its Smart Infra business segment has secured orders as Master Services Integrator for Smart City ICT Components aggregating of ₹233 crore for a brownfield and a greenfield smart city project. Its Mumbai-based civil wing has also won fresh orders for civil and construction work of ₹91 crore from automobile companies, while its cables business has got orders of ₹68 crore for cabling work.
