Salarpuria plans ₹900-cr affordable housing units

Bengaluru-based real estate builder Salarpuria Sattva has entered the affordable housing segment with plans to develop two projects in the IT city at an estimated cost of ₹900 crore. The company in partnership with global investment firm Blackstone has developed many commercial projects and has recently in partnership with Blackstone bought 'Global Village Tech Park' in Bengaluru from Coffee Day Enterprises for ₹2,700 crore. Group Managing Director Bijay Agarwal informed that the new projects will house about 2,500 flats in an area of ₹3,500-4,000 sqft. and will sell residential units in the price range of ₹25-60 lakh in locations like Kempegowda Airport and on Mysore Road in Bengaluru. The builder also has a presence in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Coimbatore, Jaipur and Goa.
