SAIL Inaugurates Dubai Office to Strengthen India-UAE Steel Trade Ties

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), one of India’s leading steel producers, has inaugurated its first international representative office in Dubai, marking a key milestone in its global expansion strategy. With an annual crude steel capacity exceeding 20 million tonnes, SAIL aims to leverage Dubai’s strategic position as a gateway to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to boost exports and strengthen trade ties.

The Dubai office will serve as a hub to deepen industry linkages, explore emerging markets, and contribute to India’s national target of achieving 300 million tonnes of steel production by 2030. This move reinforces India’s growing stature in the global steel industry and underscores SAIL’s ambition to evolve into a globally competitive steelmaker.
