Sadbhav Engineering emerges as lowest bidder for ₹779-cr metro contract

Sadbhav Engineering has been declared as the lowest bidder by Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) for the construction of 11.6-km long elevated metro rail viaduct from Kadarsha Ni Nal to Dream City end. A letter of award will be given to the company by Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC). The scope of work, among others, included building ramp for depot entry near Dream City and 10 stations excluding E&M, architectural finishing and roofing for the Surat Metro Rail Project Phase- 1, Package-CS1. The project is to be built in an SEL-SPSCPL joint venture with Sadbhav Engineering having 74% share and S. P. Singla Constructions will have a 26% stake. The project entails an investment of ₹779.73 crore and requires a construction period of 30 months.
