RVNL Secures ₹283.7 Cr East Coast Railway Project

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for an East Coast Railway project. The contract involves the third and fourth line construction between Jarapada and Talcher Road, as well as a new line between Angul and Balram in Odisha. This project, part of the MCRL Internal Corridor Phase-I doubling initiative, includes balance earthwork, bridge construction, P-way linking, ballast supply, and signal & telecom (S&T) building works, with a total outlay of ₹283.7 crore.
